When asked what kind of liquor did she bring and how many milliliters. Bai Rachma brought one can of San Miguel Lights. Mrs. Catubigan asked why she brought the liquor inside the school. She brought the liquor to show off and compete to other classmates. Mr. Bobiles asked why inside the school. Due to family problem (she kept silent for three minutes and cried). Furthermore, to catch attention and recognized by her father. Mrs. Catubigan asked that now she catch the attention of her father what was the result. She answered none. Mr. Bobiles asked if not reported by Tigno to your group, was she going to drink it. She answered yes, outside the school. Mrs. Buenaflor enlightened the students by giving advised. Now that they knew how much their parent loves them, cares and gave them attention. As a return, they must love themselves and not to misbehave. The father of Bai Rachma told the committee that he always teaches her a lesson and discipline every day. Mr. Bobiles follow up a question, what was his plan regarding his daughter. Rogelene confirmed that Rachel shouted. The intention of influenced to drink is there. When asked if she saw someone was smoking, let’s smoke also. Rachel answered no. Bai Rachma influenced the group inside the classroom, but beforehand her group was already drinking liquor. In addition, Rachel transferred the  liquor in an empty bottle of Mountain Dew. Mr. Bobiles asked the participation of Jhialyn Loyola was not able to report the incident to the authorities. But she questioned the group of Bai Rachma why did they bring liquor. From the time that she smelled the liquor and was disgusted on the odor of it she ignored them. When asked if there’s someone who invited to drink, she answered none. Mr. Bobiles asked the group even if Bai Rachma brought the liquor, did anyone refuse to her invitation. The group kept silence. Mrs. Catubigan followed up a question if the group was aware of her family problem. Rachel answered yes, since she was telling it to the group. The problem of Bai Rachma was compared to the Pinoy Big Brother contestant who has similar problem like her. But she managed to control her behavior and become positive in life. Mr. Bobiles proceded the questioning to Rhysia Royce Juarez and asked how she was invited to drink. The liquor can was given by Mariella Tigno. When asked if she have an idea what does the bottle contained of and drunk it. Rhysia knew that it was liquor and confirmed that she drunk it. After that, she gave the bottle to Rachel and lastly to Bai Rachma. But nothing has left. Findings: After careful assessment, the grievance committee has reasons to believe that Bai Rachma Carnain, Rachel Devera, Rogelene Marcadejas, Rhysia Royce Juarez are guilty of the offense imputed against them. Jhialyn Loyola was still liable disregarding the offense of her classmates and did not report the incident to the authorities. Decision: After thorough investigation, the grievance committee ruled by decisions that Bai Rachma Carnain meted 40 days suspension, Rachel Devera meted 20 days suspension, Rogelene Marcadejas meted 10 days suspension, Rhysia Royce Juarez meted 10 days suspension. Jhialyn Loyola was reprimanded and will be given counseling session by the guidance office. The group will not be admitted to school until further notice. Mariella Tigno was put on contempt due to her non-appearance and her parents.

The many temptations of life bring people to act differently through personality changes. The characters in Sir Gawain the Green Knight change their personalities through temptation. Through the Christmas time, Bertilak, king of the castle, decides to go hunting. While he is hunting, his wife is hunting or seducing Gawain. Men tempted with sex by women often act with certain animalistic instincts; in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight by the Pearl Poet, the seduction scene leads Gawain to act upon his animal instincts, which mimic the behaviors of the beasts of Bertilaks' hunt.The temptation in the first seduction scene and the first hunt scene of the deer relates in both shy and timid ways. When the lady approaches Gawain, he acts shy "laid his head low again in likeness of sleep" (25). Gawain, confused at the directness of the lady, pretends to be asleep. She throws her body at him, which startles Gawain to act ignorant. At the end of the first seduction scene, Gawain says, "I shall kiss at your command" (28). The deer, which at first is shy, but at the end of the hunt is killed, relates to Gawains' shy behavior, but at the end of the seduction scene is caught and kissed. Although the deer is the shyest of animals, the boar is caught with more use of power and strength. The next seduction and hunt scene revolves around the behavior of the boar. The boar is a quick and aggressive animal. It has a "bloodthirsty heart to quell" (31). Gawain, when approached by the lady in the second seduction scene, acts less ignorant to his position, but temptation draws him to be aggressive. "My aim is to please," (33) said Gawain. The lady tempts Gawain to such an extent that he tries to resist her by exchanging two kisses with her, instead of sleeping with her. The hunt of the boar caught at last with more strength then the deer, is parallel to the lady attempting to pursue Gawain. He is more tempted to her and finally is caught by power. The temptation of the third seduction scene and the hunt of the fox are the most forceful.Gawain is tempted to the extreme during the hunt of the fox. The fox has a sly and deceiving personality. "He thought through his wiles to have thrown off the hounds" (36). The fox tries to sneak away from the dogs, which happens to be the most outgoing personality characteristic.

Unit 331 5. 1&5. 2 Explain the different types of transitions can affect children’s development and evaluate the effectiveness of positive relationships during periods of transitions. Transitions are the movement or changes from one position, stage or state to another. These changes can be gradual or sudden, and last for differing periods of time. Transitions can be stressful for young people and this stress can have far reaching effects on children’s emotional wellbeing and academic achievement.Children face many different transitions in their young lives. One of the main transitions is changing schools. This may make them feel anxious and nervous, they may be apprehensive about what their new school is going to be like. They may be sad because they are leaving their friends and familiar security of their previous school. They may experience a sense of loss and even bereavement about losing their friends. The child’s behaviour may change; they may become withdra wn or display extroverted behaviour.The child may show regression academically and communicatively. They may become ill, this maybe a genuine stress related illness or a pretend illness that will delay the change that is upsetting them. Younger children may become clingy and display behaviour of a younger child because they feel vulnerable. Older children may have sleepless nights or nightmares; they may develop mood swings and become grumpy and irritable. They may experience loss of appetite or binge to find comfort. In extreme cases children may self-harm or even think about suicide.These effects of these transitions would impede development emotional, physically, socially and cognitively. Puberty is another transition that all children will experience. The way a child behaves is entirely due to hormones. Puberty is a time of great change. Physically, the body changes and begins to turn into a more adult like body. Puberty and hormones also effects things like friendship, attitude s to others (of both sexes) and to parents change quite dramatically. It can make a child moody, bad-tempered, loose their concentration and tired.The teenager can become self-conscious and worried about the changes that are happening to his body, this could affect all areas of development. There are other transitions that can affect the child such as moving house, moving schools, divorce, and an introduction of a new partner by a parent. This stress can affect the child emotionally, physically, physiologically and intellectually. The child may become physically unwell, their school work may suffer, and they may feel worried, confused and depressed. Children need to have positive relationships during these periods of transition.This could be a parent, teacher or a peer. The child will need someone that they can trust and rely on, someone who they can talk through their fears and concerns with. A positive relationship is essential to help the child cope through transition; someone wh o is there for them and provides support, both practically and emotionally. The psychoanalyst John Bowlby developed the attachment theory which he states that a child needs a supportive, dependable secure relationship with their care giver. This positive relationship helps the child develop and cope with the stresses of the many transitions that they face.Children with the back-up of strong attachments and positive relationships during transitions will be able to cope more efficiently, be more resilient and maintain their self-esteem. If they feel valued and respected their academic, social and emotional development will continue. They will have the self-esteem and self-confidence to explore and embrace the transitions. They will be able to make new relationships and cope with the new situations. If a child experiences successful transitions in early life it will make it easier to cope with subsequent transitions in the future.

Definition and Examples of a Predicate in a Sentence In English grammar, a predicate is one of the two main parts of a sentence or clause. (The other main part is the subject.) It is usually defined as a word group that comes after the subject to complete the meaning of the ​sentence or clause. The predicate is the portion of the sentence that contains the verb (or verb phrase); in very short, simple sentences, it might be only a verb. The predicate tells what happened to the subject or what state its in. In the case of verbs that arent actions, those that describe states of being are called stative verbs. First, find the subject and then the verb (or verbs). Anything that isnt the subject of the sentence is the predicate. After the long hike up the mountain, the tour group rested and took in the views. The tour group is the subject, the verbs are rested and took in, and everything but the subject is the predicate. Even though the dependent clause comes at the start of the sentence, it still tells something about when the group rested, making it an adverbial phrase. Its not the subject of the sentence and thus belongs in the predicate. If you are to find the simple predicate, its just the verb or verb plus a helper.
